Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need basic supplies for each unit of learning. Old school folders are bulky and heavy. When students are expected to carry many heavy binders from class to class, they often don't because the binders are heavy and uncomfortable.

These folders are lightweight and will help them stay organized.

I hope that my 6th-grade students learn organizational skills that will help them learn study skills. This will not only help students in 6th grade but throughout their academic careers. These folders will also be our writing folders for our writing practices.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
