We use thinking maps to jot down what the characters say, do, and think, as well as their physical appearance, and to discuss the author's choices and how those choices reveal aspects of the characters' personalities. \r\n\r\nWe usually do essay practice with one of the themes of the book and practice citing evidence in order to be ready for state testing.","fullyFundedDate":1774307238319,"projectUrl":"project/bridging-literacy/10161281/","projectTitle":"Bridging Literacy","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mendez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8852616_orig.png?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1673307735645","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8852616"},{"teacherId":8852616,"projectId":9231911,"letterContent":"My 6th graders love holding book clubs!
