Focused on Learning and Movement With Wobble Chairs

My Students

This year is a challenging school year because of the pandemic.

About half of my class is significantly behind in reading and math, but they are working hard to learn.

It is vital to have items such as wobble chairs in my classroom to help students focus on catching up in their learning. I have students who have gaps in their education because of remote learning last year. We have made a lot of progress but still need help getting items that will help my students catch up. I have helped my students have an attitude of we can do hard things and we use the powerful phrase of “not yet”.

My Project

Allowing my students to have a choice in flexible seating will enhance their leaning experience especially for those students who have a hard time sitting still to begin with.

Successful learning comes when a student feels comfortable and has a choice.

Students will be able to be more focused and engaged on learning and having a positive experience as they sit on the wobble chairs.

My students need impactful items such as wobble chairs to gain strides in reading and math for all that they have gone through this year.
