Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am aiming to create a space in my classroom where students can have a workstation to present and teach their peers. This standing desk workstation will be connected to our projector, so that students can use this space to show their work, teach their peers, and present to the classroom.

Creating this standing desk work space allows students to feel and look professional when presenting and teaching.

This gives students the opportunity to feel confident and practice their speaking skills as well.

My special students spend 50% of their day learning in English and 50% of their day learning in Spanish through our Dual Language Immersion program. We are looking forward to using this space to feel more confident and prepared to transition to middle school next year.
