Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have been handed a lot of challenges in life that are of no fault of their own, ranging from emotional and learning disabilities to mental health issues, to poverty, and neglect. These challenges are so major that the students' physical health often takes a back seat. Many of our students live in neighborhoods where they cannot go outside and play because it is just too dangerous, and in some cases, their parents cannot afford to put them in extracurricular activities. PE class is the only time some get to be active.

My students are wonderful, ambitious individuals who have their whole future ahead of them to make changes to the lifestyle they were brought up in.

With a little help from the right people, anything is possible!

My Project

Working in a Special Act School district, we like to give our students the most appropriate atmosphere in order to learn. Traditional desks and chairs just wont cut it for my students. I like to create a room that is fun, flexible and safe. The inflatables will definitely help create the the ambiance we are looking for. The students wont be bond to uncomfortable furniture. Our students come in all shapes and sizes and sometimes the chairs just do not work. With the inflatable seats the students will be able to move them and place where they are comfortable. I hope this furniture is cozy and reduces anxiety in order to get their minds focused on learning.
