Flexible Seating Needed in Second Grade

My Project

Learning can be a fun and exciting, but it is also needs to be meaningful. My students are active learners who are ready to learn daily. They enjoy learning in various settings throughout the day including whole group, small groups, and learning stations. My classroom is full of all different races and ethnicities. The students in my classroom come from all ranges of backgrounds. But their ethnicity or background does not matter when it comes to learning. My students enter my classroom every day ready to learn something new!

Flexible seating options allow my students to learn in another area of the classroom, and it breaks up the routine of sitting in their desks all day.

Children need the flexibility to move around the classroom for a fresh outlook during learning. The scoop rockers and lap desks give my students the option to move around the room but also stay on task. Having flexible seating in my classroom would allow my students to choose a learning environment that works best for their individual learning styles too.
