My students need a Flex Space Comfy Couch and Chair to be able to move away from their desks and work collaboratively on comfortable pieces of furniture. These resources will help us tremendously!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My amazing fifth grade students come to school each day ready and eager to learn. They are thoughtful and considerate of each other and of the learning community we have created together in our classroom.
My students enjoy being able to get up from their desks and move to other areas around our classroom where they can work collaboratively and share their knowledge with others.
92% of the more than 600 students in the school receive free lunch. The students in my class are enthusiastic learners who strive to attend school every day. My classroom is a warm and welcoming environment, and my students work hard to maintain that positive environment for learning.
My Project
The Comfy Couch and Chair will be used by my students during a variety of activities within our classroom. From reading together in partnerships or small groups to working on blended learning activities using our class Chromebooks, these resources will help my students maximize their learning experiences.
These resource will provide the opportunity for my students to have choices in where they work in class and with whom they work as they continue to demonstrate their love of learning in our 5th grade class.
This Comfy Couch and Chair will give them additional choices beyond the rug and small pillows we currently have in our classroom. The flexibility to move the couch and chair to any area within our class is a great benefit for us. Any and all help is sincerely appreciated!
