Having a reliable printer in our classroom, has allowed me to quickly print math, practice, graphic organizers, reference materials, small group activities, and differentiated resources whenever my students have needed them. Instead of waiting for access to a school printer are having to plan everything around, limited printing availability, I have been able to respond to my students needs right when they arise.\r\n\r\nThe printer has also allowed me to give my students more opportunities to step away from their screens and engage with hands-on, paper-based learning. My sixth graders have been able to annotate, solve problems, organize their thinking, and work collaboratively with printed materials that are readily available to them.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, your generosity shows my students that people they may never meet or believe in their education and want them to succeed. The charts, headphones, and even the paper cutter have each become useful parts of our daily learning, giving my students resources that help them feel more prepared, independent, and successful.\r\n\r\nThe charts provide visual reminders of important math concepts, and vocabulary. The paper cutter and paper have allowed me to make bilingual resources to support our multilingual learners with academic language. Many have taped these to their desks for easy and constant access. \r\n\r\nThe headphones, in particular, have become invaluable to help our students with their independent, self-paced learning. While students are asked to bring in headphones of their own, many do not have access. Now, thanks to you, every student has a pair of headphones labeled just for them. Not only does this offer them access to digital resources, but it also avoids any embarrassment for them to not have headphones while other students might. \r\nYou have helped make our classroom a place where each student can access the resources and support they need to keep learning and to build confidence. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for being part of our classroom community and for investing in my students. We receied the headphones on Wednesday. \r\nThe students were so happy to receive their own headphones. I wrote down all the names who gave to our project and where in the USA they came from. We are eager to learn about kindness and you all certainly taught us more about this by giving.\r\n\r\nWe need our headphones for a many programs on our laptops. We have iready reading 15 minutes every day. We have amira who checks our reading fluency and tutors us on sounds and letters three times a week 15 minutes. After lunch we go on ST Math which helps us with our numeracy, measuremnt, and geometry for 5 days a week 15 minutes a day. After we work on our Eureka Math lessons we get to work on assigned iready math lessons. \r\n\r\nOur smartboard has aprogram with interactive lessons our teacher creates on Lumio. \r\nWe love to do this every day but usually only three times a week.\r\n\r\nAs you can see we are computer literate. With our headphones we can all work quietly with out any distractions.
