Flexible Classroom for Busy Little Minds!

Help me give my students flexible seating through balance balls and discs, mobile stations through carts and storage and book boxes! I am transforming my classroom to feel more like home because together...WE ARE FAMILY!

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. They are such a blessing, and they are my inspiration!

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly.

We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so blessed and thankful to have a group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

I am so excited to transform our classroom! Each child will be able to have their own book box to take with them around the classroom and comfortable, flexible seating to choose from! Math and literacy stations will be mobile so we can roll them where we need (even if that is in the hallway or outside on a beautiful day!)

I plan to transform my classroom to feel more like home.

There will be a cozy fireplace, new book shelves and various seating to choose from. We will have photographs of our classmates throughout the room to create a sense of community and belonging. The learning environment will encourage the children to come to school (and hopefully not want to leave)! They will feel valued, loved and like family!
