I am so excited to transform our classroom! Each child will be able to have their own book box to take with them around the classroom and comfortable, flexible seating to choose from! Math and literacy stations will be mobile so we can roll them where we need (even if that is in the hallway or outside on a beautiful day!) I plan to transform my classroom to feel more like home. There will be a cozy fireplace, new book shelves and various seating to choose from. We will have photographs of our classmates throughout the room to create a sense of community and belonging. The learning environment will encourage the children to come to school (and hopefully not want to leave)! They will feel valued, loved and like family!
