My Project

I have been teaching for 24 years and one of the biggest things I have learned is that not all kids need the same thing to learn. As a teacher you need to be flexible.

This project has 2 of the biggest supplies I have seen kids like to have for flexibility in their learning.

The noise canceling headphones are a must for some kids. Neurodivergent and typically developing kids both need them. Sounds everywhere in the school can just be overwhelming sometimes. The most overwhelming place is the cafeteria! It can be so loud in there. Some kids can't focus on eating because of the noise. I like to keep a set of these headphone handy incase anyone needs them.

I like to offer flexible seating in my classroom. Every child is not comfortable sitting in a chair all day. The floor cushions in this project will allow students a comfy place to sit on the floor.
