Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Children are constantly on the move, and we are trying to match their energy in our learning environment. This is my first Year working with LIFE (functional living skills) classroom and I have noticed they always have energy. Who wants to sit the entire time when learning? Learning is meant to be fun, interactive and increase internal motivation to foster their growth and independence.

Flexible seating will allow all types of learners to gain meaningful education experience with the options of different style seating, options to work in different locations of the classroom or school, ease of transitions from content and activities, allowing structure and ease of access to locations and materials in a calm and safe environment.

This project includes a variety of flexible seating options, bins and storage organization for students and grade levels for ease on transition and structure.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
