For many of them, being able to clearly hear instructions in English and in their home language has helped bridge learning gaps and strengthen their understanding of key concepts. The headphones have also created a more focused and calm working environment, especially during individualized practice and assessments.\r\n The testing dividers have given students a sense of independence and security during tests. They help eliminate distractions and allow each student to work at their own pace without feeling self-conscious. This has been especially important for students who are still building confidence in both math and language skills.\r\n One of the biggest sources of excitement has been the dry-erase markers. Teaching 4th grade math requires a lot of hands-on practice, problem-solving, and opportunities to show work step-by-step. My students absolutely love using the markers during lessons, stations, and reviews.
