I think it's very important to give students activities that will allow them to learn in ways that are fun. Beginning readers need to have opportunities to manipulate letters and sounds so they can begin to make connections about how written language works. All of these supplies will help my students be engaged during our literacy stations. The variety of phonics supplies and magnetic letters that I'm asking for will allow my students to participate in interactive activities that are tactile. In addition, the headphones will give my students an opportunity to participate in literacy activities through technology such as RAZ kids and Education Galaxy, which they love.
