This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are from the Southeast Philadelphia area, receiving 100% free breakfast and lunch. Our students come from diverse backgrounds, all bringing something special and unique into my classroom. We learn and grow from one another every day, both inside and outside of the classroom. They come to school every day ready to learn and try new things.

My students love to read and listen to fun books, do creative hands-on activities, and play engaging educational games.

Watching their faces light up and seeing each child engaged in the learning process, is a unforgettable feeling! Please help us enhance our education through the gift of giving back.

My Project

Fluency and Fitness will allow my students the gift of learning in a new and fun way with the click of a mouse. This exciting new way of learning will help even my struggling learners! This program will help increase my students basic skills in reading and mathematics

Fitness is a vital part in our every day lives.

Many of our children lack this due to the environment in which they live in. Having this wonderful program available in our classroom will help give me that opportunity to bring fitness and learning together.

The additional basic school supplies will allow my students to come to school prepared and ready to finish out the school year with a BANG! My students love to color and it is a great way to express themselves. We are constantly using crayons, glue, and other art supplies. We are running low and need some help!
