My Project

This is my first year teaching but while student teaching I enjoyed watching kids find out the message in books. Which is why I went into 6th grade Ela.

When the students are able to point out what the books we read have in common with the world they live in.

The laminator is so I can create reusable group discussion cards for all nine classes. The candy is for my prize box but the pop tarts are for the students who don't have breakfast food at home.

It helps them understand the world they live in a little more.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
