My first graders deserve to go first class.
I would like my students to have brand new white boards to use in their formation of upper and lower-case letters. I think they would be excited to have a brand-new read aloud books such as "There once a lady who swallowed...." for our "campfire" work. Using pencils that are ready to work immediately while they learn how to write an opinion paper. Lastly, reading, listening, and writing are core skills to develop and the books I asked for will help students to develop those lifelong skills.
