The students can engage at school and continue their learning at home. ELA resources and the addition of science and mathematics, the kids can continue to grow in any environment. The opportunity to start a project at school such as monitor the sun and its length of time in sky during the fall and have the family help support the student at home by monitoring the moon and its phases. The students will feel self-worth, pride, and accomplishment in themselves and gain confidence. My students can trigger a waterfall of inspiration in themselves and each other. Through use of Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards I can reward teachers that have given of themselves in every subject and use their lesson plans to engage classroom as a whole. The ELA material will help me teach students one to one touch skills on letters and numbers and develop skills to help children succeed in the future. After this last year, the 'gap year' all teachers are facing is difficult. Having extra tools to help these babies read, understand math concepts, and delve into science will make it fun for them and hopefully bridge the gap that sits before all of us. Thank you!
