My Project

My first graders love learning about everything! They are special because they try their best to be their best in everything that they do.

Reading books about famous African American leaders and scientists will help spark their interest for future careers.

My first graders love playing and using math games and STEM kits because they love to design and create. Math games also give them practice in counting, addition, and subtraction. The Popit Math games will also help with math skills. We always need replacement dry erase markers and erasers because we use our whiteboards everyday. Our headphones also need to be replaced as we use our iPads everyday while doing math and listen to recorded stories. We will use the storage containers to organize the headphones, dry erase markers and erasers. The snacks are for those times when the first graders need a little more energy during the day.
