The soccer supplies and snacks have made a positive difference for our students at our low-income school. These resources have given our students more opportunities to participate in physical activities, build teamwork, and enjoy time together while making memories with their classmates.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the soccer balls and other supplies, they were excited and eager to get started. Their faces lit up, and they immediately began talking about playing soccer, practicing their skills, and working together as a team. The snacks were also a special treat that helped make our activities even more enjoyable. For some of our students, having these extra resources at school means being able to participate in activities they might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience.\r\n\r\nWe have been using the soccer supplies during physical activities and team-building exercises. One special moment was watching students encourage one another during a soccer game. Instead of focusing only on winning, they practiced passing the ball, communicating, and celebrating each other's efforts. It was wonderful to see students who may not always interact with one another come together, laugh, and support their teammates. The snacks helped us create a welcoming atmosphere where students could relax, recharge, and enjoy being part of the group.\r\n\r\nBecause our school serves families with limited resources, donations like these mean so much. They allow us to provide enriching experiences without placing an additional financial burden on families. Every student deserves the chance to feel included, have fun, and discover new interests, regardless of their family's financial situation.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue using the soccer supplies to develop teamwork, sportsmanship, communication, and confidence. We plan to organize more friendly games and skill-building activities where every student has a chance to participate. We had to re-order the tadpoles because they died upon delivery. The second set of tadpoles were delivered and they are thriving. We are also watching out plants grow. The children are taking care of the plants. They have written in their journals from which we used the construction paper.
