Scholastic News was a big deal in my classroom when I was a student. I want to be able to share the love of current events that Scholastic News offers with my students while helping them learn to become more fluent readers. We will use this classroom magazine to help with fluency but also to spark conversations among students about current events. Please help my students become informed fluent readers! I intend to use the Scholastic News as part of my whole group instruction during our Language arts and Social studies period. The magazine will allow me to do some cross curricular teaching.
