My Students

I have a classroom of eager, energetic first graders. They are so excited to learn. We are striving to be 21st Century learners where ideas are shared through collaboration and inspiration.

Collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills are valued in our classroom.

We build a sense of community by knowing that every student has something to offer.

First graders love school. They love learning. They love working together on projects and solving problems. I am always looking for ways to enhance their school experiences.

My Project

My students are full of fascination about the world in which they live! They wonder about space. They wonder about dinosaurs. They wonder about rocks. They are first graders and are full of curiosity and fascination about the world around them. The internet is a great place to research topics. They need devices to access all the great information available online.

My students need devices like Chromebooks to help find the answers to the questions they have.

They have grown up in the age of technology. They are so comfortable with devices and are not afraid to ask questions and then boldly find the answers. They are learning how to safely navigate the internet. We have eleven classroom Chromebooks but would love to have more for independent projects.
