Since receiving this grant, we have hosted two schoolwide garden clean-up days. These events brought teachers, parents, and students together outdoors to work toward a shared goal.\r\n\r\nDuring the school day, students also assembled the tomato cages. This task gave them the opportunity to follow directions while collaborating to interpret both diagrams and written instructions. Through teamwork, they successfully built the large cages that will soon support the produce in our garden.\r\n\r\nI am most excited about the opportunity for our teachers, parents, and students to enjoy and utilize this space for many years to come.
