I have 21 first graders with a wide variety of needs and interests. Like most first grade classrooms, I have emerging readers and fluent readers. I have children who love fictional stories and children who love informational text. I have children working an entire grade level ahead in math and children who are just beginning to make sense of numbers. Every student in my classroom is unique and special to me. Their enthusiasm and passion for learning makes coming to school every day a privilege for me!
