Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager to learn and create with their hands! Fine motor skills are finger and hand skills that are necessary to further development confidence in writing with markers and pencils, cutting, opening and closing small objects, holding utensils, tying shoelaces, painting and more.

Including finger and hand skills throughout elementary grades will help students to refine their fundamental abilities to create a stronger foundation of skills for the rest of their lives.

I am asking for puzzles, threading toys, paint and paper and other crafts supplies, Play Dough so that my students can strengthen their hand skills. In addition to improving fine motor skills, my students will benefit from these resources to support their pretend play, visual arts, and more!
