Fine Motor Fun for EVERYONE!

Help me give my students some engaging materials to help strengthen their fine motor skills.

My Project

I have a group of 21 fun and energetic pre-k students. They come to school each day eager to learn!

Developing fine motor skills in early childhood education helps to build the foundation for important future skills like writing and self care.

Fine motor skills gradually build for children as they do activities to help strengthen their muscles and coordination.

I have several students in my classroom that struggle performing tasks that use their fine motor skills. This often causes them to become very frustrated and upset when they can’t perform the same tasks as their friends. I would love to provide these students with some fun and engaging games and materials to help them improve their fine motor skills.

The feed the animals fine motor games will help fine-tune their motor skills by having them use tweezers to grab tasty treats to feed the animals. The fill it up fine motor jars will help build classification skills and eye/hand coordination as they fit the objects into the holes. The different kinds of tweezers/tongs/scoopers/scissors will help strengthen the muscles in their little hands.
