Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the school year comes to a close, our students deserve a meaningful and joyful celebration that recognizes their hard work, growth, and perseverance. A Summer Send-Off event provides an opportunity to end the year on a positive note, reinforcing a sense of community, belonging, and accomplishment.

Many of our students benefit greatly from structured, school-based experiences, and this event allows us to create lasting memories in a safe, supportive environment.

Providing supplies such as snacks and refreshments ensures that every child can participate fully, regardless of their circumstances.

These snack and drink resources will help us create engaging, hands-on experiences that promote creativity, social interaction, and emotional well-being. More importantly, it allows us to celebrate our students not just for their academic success, but for their resilience, kindness, and growth throughout the year.

A strong ending helps set the tone for a strong return. By investing in this Summer Send-Off, we are sending our students into the summer feeling valued, celebrated, and connected to their school community.
