Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students will be heading to CREW Marsh for a hike to explore nature and learn about animal habitats. On this hike, students will need long socks to protect their legs from bugs and plants scratching their legs. As a school that is largely free and reduced lunch, we are not able to count on every student having the ability to buy high socks. Our hike will also be an all day thing, so we want each student to have a water bottle. It is so important for the students to stay hydrated. Finally, we want to provide them with a snack to take before their lunch .

Please help us supply socks, water bottles, and snacks for our students as they might not be able to supply it on their own!
