Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Being in a Title l school, I have a diverse mixture of students. In that mixture, I have a large English Language Learner population. Most of my students come from low-income households, but a few of those families are also newcomers to the country.

I would like to provide my students with snacks that will keep them alert and focused.

Some students may not eat breakfast or lunch and are hungry all day. Being able to provide even a little something to snack on, will help them to get through the day. It's hard for some of them to concentrate as it is, BUT even harder when they are hungry!

I'm hoping that these chips, fruit snacks, and cookies/crackers will help fill their stomachs enough to keep them alert, focused, and energized to make it through the day.
