My Project

Help me create a fabric art unit for my students so that they can experience multiple ways that textile and fabric arts can be created. In this unit students will explore felting, embroidery, light printing, sewing, marbling and weaving activities with the requested sewing kits, lacing needles, loom thread and cross stitch kits.

Each textile art sub-unit will introduce students to the basics, explore the origins of the craft and allow students to learn about artists who excel in the craft.

Students will have guided lessons for each type of textile art and then will choose what to pursue for a final project.
