My Students

My students are third graders between ages 8-9 at an affiliated charter school. Each and every child is an important member of my class. I refer to my class as a family as we treat each other with respect and kindness like a family should.

Each day my students enter our classroom full of eagerness to learn, courage to take risks and work to the best of their abilities.

My students are hard-working kids who have big dreams for their futures!

My Project

My students are tremendous artists! They love drawing, painting and creating all different types of artwork and I love teaching it to them.

Do you remember all the amazing art projects you did in elementary school?

I know I do and I want my students to have great memories of the art they did as a child. It is my hope that every student I have in my class develops the love of art where they can create pieces that express their feelings.

I plan to have students draw creative artwork in their spiral drawing notebooks each week. At the end of the school year each student will have a book full of their creative drawings to have as a memory of all the projects they did in class during the year.
