Your generosity means the world to us. \r\n\r\nWe began the school year in mid-August and our class of first-graders started the year off with so much enthusiasm and gusto. These desks played a big part in establishing the positive classroom environment. From the very beginning, the class loved sitting in table groups. I have found these tables easy to accommodate different groupings based on the various needs of the students or activities that we are about to accomplish. \r\n\r\nOne thing that I love is 'Tetris-ing' the tables into different configurations for small groups and testing. I have found that, depending on the arrangement, I can accommodate a group of 4-8 students in one small group setting. The lockable wheels help make these arrangements quick to set up, and then keep them in place when the students sit in their chair. Thank you so much for making our classroom a success.","fullyFundedDate":1753318016850,"projectUrl":"project/21st-century-1st-grade-seating/9423809/","projectTitle":"21st Century 1st-Grade Seating","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Morton-Newman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2978867_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y386&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1749855683372","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2978867"},{"teacherId":1212641,"projectId":8884749,"letterContent":"I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for donating to my project. The students love having their own book to hold and follow along with.\r\n\r\nWhen finished with the book we did some follow up activities such as making a brochure highlighting their favorite character in the book. Part of that included drawing a picture of the character and using pastels and watercolors to color it in.\r\n\r\nWhat's great about having the books is that I can use them from year to year with all my incoming students. \r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you for your generosity!","fullyFundedDate":1729522675980,"projectUrl":"project/ace-that-test-and-read-bunnicula/8884749/","projectTitle":"Ace That Test And Read Bunnicula","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Green","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp1212641_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1471134412108","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/sharon-green"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_101267","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":873,"numTeachers":40,"percentFrplEligible":14,"percentAsian":7,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":50,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":12,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"21.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":94.0,"schoolId":101267,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Carpenter Community Charter School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Carpenter Community Charter School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/los-angeles-unified-school-district/carpenter-community-charter-school/101267"}
