Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten students love to learn hands-on. These STEM learning tools will open their imagination to new ideas while exploring and counting. Students will have the opportunity to choose their center, work as a team, listen to each other, and make groups of 10 to help them count.

These items, including sensory tubes, sand, and slime, will challenge each student to think outside the box and provide a hands-on tool for all to use.

What can they do? What can they make? How can they sort? Ideas will flow, and open-ended questions will be asked. Students will learn how to organize and sort while learning in a fun environment.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
