This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a wonderful group of sixth grade students, who come from very diverse backgrounds. Some have lived most of their lives in the U.S., while others are new to this country. Regardless of their country of orgin, each individual child shares the joy and passion of learning!

They are excited to learn about recent discoveries in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

As a small media magnet, the funding for new technology in the class room is just not available.

Due to the Covid 19 virus, the need to keep students engaged in a virtual classroom, has never been greater.

My Project

Using an iPad Pro to display math and science lessons, will enhance the learning of each one of my students virtually. Using the function of screen share and activating the virtual white board, allows students to workout problems in full view of the class. This allow me to see exactly what they are doing, so I can identify mistakes in problem solving, during this season of distance learning.

Upon the reopening of school classrooms, the ipad will be used to share videos, assignments, and solve problems, as the air play feature projects the information on the classroom monitor.
