Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we go though the months I would like to have learning materials that I will be able to use for the science units of study. These materials will be available to the children to build their curiosity and knowledge of STEM. Materials include the cycle of life, the human body, earth science and experiment kits.

This is all about getting children to engage in learning about the world around them.

The puzzle play involves thinking out problems and using hands and fingers for coordination including the mailbox kit. This will help with finemotor skills that will follow them through the childrens life. The kitchen play set will help with learning about nutritional cooking. The clips will be used to show case the children’s work so they can be proud and be confident of their work. The broom and dust pan will be used to maintain a clean and safe environment for the children to play and learn.
