Expanding Our Social-Emotional Learning With Amazon Echo Products!
Help me give my students the ability to increase and have access to a variety of resources for social-emotional learning that the Amazon Echo Dot and Amazon Echo Show can provide!
My classroom is filled with many bright and wonderful students! They come to school ready and eager to learn with excitement in their eyes. Not only is every child inside my classroom different based on personalities, but each little person has also had different life experiences.
Our school is situated in a low socioeconomic area where more then one-third of our students come from low-income families.
We also serve a military community. Despite these various lives and experiences, my students are all eager to learn! As their teacher, I want to do the best that I can to make them enjoy school and learning.
My Project
The social-emotional learning of the students that I share my classroom with is extremely important. Children of all ages have feelings and thoughts, and every one of those little emotions is extremely important. I want to use the Amazon Echo and the Amazon Show to increase my students' social-emotional learning by giving them access to a variety of resources that these products can easily provide.
With the Echo products having access to the internet, they can be utilized in a variety of ways to boost my students' interests and feelings.
Students can go to an Echo product and say how they are feeling and it will change to a particular color to fit that emotion, ad provide them with a tip to help change their emotion if needed. You can also use these products to play soothing music within the classroom, or games that can boost classroom morale and team-building. I believe that these resources and products will greatly benefit and impact my student both educationally and emotionally.
