Flexible seating is a great way to allow students the ability to choose what they want their learning environment to be like! It allows them the ability to sit more comfortably encourages more engagement and responsibility which can be very beneficial for students. I want my students to be able to choose what they want their learning environment to be like and how they want to sit while learning. Flexible seating has been shown to help improve students learning, work abilities, and even behavior. Kindergarten students need the opportunity to get their wiggles out. When students have choices, they feel as though they have power which, in turn, increases learning.
