My Students

The students here in Mrs. Peay classroom are some exceptional, fun loving, enthusiastic children that will keep you smiling. We are looking for new items for our Special Education classroom; that will help with purchasing educational materials, items for our sensory area, and fine motors activities for them to grow to their best of ability. Many of our students need an area that they go and calm down when they get to stimulated our sensory area has been blocked off but were looking for items that we can place in that area just for them. Along with educational materials such as alphabet, numbers, telling time, sight words and etc.

My Project

These items will help the students with having a place to go when they are over stimulated and need a break. In this area students will know that is only for times to relax. Some of the items in the cart will be used to carry around with students when they enter regular education class and need to calm down or relax in that environment. Other items that are purchased is to organize the materials that will be in the sensory area. Our students love to learn, but at times they need help with relaxing their over stimulated minds. Fine Motor skills are also a necessary learning for many of them with learning to button, zip, etc clothing.
