This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager and excited to be playing a variety of games , activities and sports. They look forward to entering into a new school year. Sometimes their parents can't afford shoes for all the children that live in their household. I want to be able to provide these tennis shoes in a variety of sizes so that the kids who don't own tennis shoes can still participate in Physical Education class.

I'm instilling the love of movement and fitness and giving these students the correct tools to be successful.

It is important to me but also my students. I'm creating life long lovers of fitness.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
