My Students

"Everything that you can imagine is real," Pablo Picasso once said, and my goal is to allow my students to put this in to action with art supplies!

I work with twenty four and five year olds that love coming to school!

They attend elementary school in the inner city. They all receive free lunch and speak Vietnamese as their home language. They love expressing themselves through drawing, acting, and playing.

My Project

With all the budget cuts that are happening, I am finding that it is difficult to get the resources that we need for the children. I am requesting crayons, markers, construction paper, watercolor, tempera paint, smocks, easel paper, and dry erase markers. These items will allow my children to broaden their imagination and express themselves artistically.

Your help will make a huge impact in allowing my four and five year olds to have the supplies that they need in order to nurture their creative thinking skills as well as to help them to use their imagination to interpret the world around them.
