Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the school counselor at a Title I elementary school, I have the privilege of helping students develop the social-emotional skills, confidence, and resilience they need to be successful both inside and outside the classroom. While academics are important, students also thrive when they know they are valued, recognized, and celebrated for who they are and the positive choices they make.

These number will become a centerpiece for Student of the Month recognitions, PBIS celebrations, attendance incentives, honor programs, Career Day, kindergarten graduation, 5th-grade promotion, literacy nights, family engagement events, school dances, counseling activities, and schoolwide celebrations that recognize kindness, leadership, perseverance, responsibility, empathy, and academic growth.

The light-up numbers will also create welcoming spaces for students and families to take photos during special events, helping build lasting memories and stronger connections between home and school. Every celebration becomes an opportunity to strengthen relationships, increase school pride, and remind students that they belong to a community that believes in them.
