Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

All of my students have speech delays, and some need occupational (fine motor skills) and physical therapy support. On top of having their specific needs, my students also come from low-income families, and more than half of my students are English Language Learners.

Please do not let their circumstances trick you; my students are bright, cheerful, kind, and eager to learn.

Autism, Mild Intellectual Disability, Developmental Delay, and Traumatic Brain Injuries are only labels. When you choose to see the "able" instead of the label, you will notice the brilliant minds at work at their very own pace and time.

My Project

For this school year, I have moved to a Title I school that does not supply the essential supplies for me to create engaging and interactive resources for the students.

Engaging and interactive hands-on resources help students to focus, manipulate, and fully engage in the activity.

From the laminating pouches to cardstock paper to whiteboards will help my students to be more engaged and have hands-on learning both at school and at home. All of the materials listed will be used in both in-person and/or virtual learning. Thank you for being so supportive.
