This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of basic art materials is a must in my and any art classroom. The pencils, markers, erasers, and construction paper allow my students to plan and develop their creative ideas. What becomes a problem is the fact that the markers never seem to last, erasers and pencils seem to disappear, and the construction paper ends up in the recycle bin. Even though they are great about taking care of our art materials and cutting down on waist, it is inevitable for materials to disappear or get damaged. By having these materials on hand at all times, students will be able to avoid running out of these materials and focus on increasing their art making!
By donating to our project, you will not only help to keep our basic art materials stocked, but you will also help student productivity and, ultimately, help to increase their artistic achievements.
Students will be able to simply focus on the art material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or run out. Plus in this world of creativity, any interaction with art materials will increase their creativity as well as their desire to make art!
