Ergonomic Seats Equal Engaged Students!

Help me give my students flexible seating for small group instruction. We often move from table to floor to use the Promethean board for a larger projection of word problems and a space to demonstrate our thinking.

My Project

These seats will provide students with a stable place to sit and work while together on the floor for small group instruction. We currently fall off small home-made stools and they often cause more of a distraction. Sitting on the carpet leads to squirming. When students are in a seat that allows for comfort, without distraction, I believe they will be focused and engaged 100% of the time. My goals for this item are that when seated together we can focus on what's being presented. I often use the Promethean board to project word problems. Students need a space to sit close, write, and easily maneuver from table to carpet when in a small group. My students are a part of math intervention. I believe with the movement from table to floor in a safe, comfortable space, they will bring forth their very best efforts.
