Please help my first grade students at Central Park School to receive technology experiences that will enhance their learning with excitement, creativity, discovery, and critical thinking. I left the business field in 2005 to take care of my children and pursue my dream to teach. In 2010 I graduated and came to work for Midlothian School District. I served as a reading paraprofessional my first year and went on to teaching kindergarten. Now I am in my fourth year of first grade and loving every minute of being a part of molding young children. Technology will be a powerful tool to our future leaders. I want to start the learning in first grade. Our school is over 80% poverty and my goal is to participate in breaking down the digital divide that exists among classes. I want to offer my students rich opportunities to learn through technology so they too can compete in college and careers.
