This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Creating access to more advanced manufacturing methods to create more creative and ambitious STEM projects to learn from is what our robotics program continuously tries to provide to our students. As students' projects get more ambitious, we need more specific machine equipment to finish up their projects. This track saw will speed up the shaping and construction of our student's preliminary design of some of the parts our students create for their projects and competitive robots. By having more resources, we will be able to provide them all with an in-depth learning experience.

Our students apply engineering, science, math, and technology to solve complex, open-ended problems in a real-world context.

All while developing highly transferable skills in collaboration, communication, and critical thinking, which are relevant for STEM careers.

Please help provide our program with this track saw so that can help my students become the next generation of STEM professionals. We would be actively promoting STEM within our community starting in our own high school. Sharing what we are capable of doing and allowing us to inspire others in our community that by working together, we solve problems and build great things.
