My Project

According to the history of manipulatives, since the beginning of time, civilizations have used physical objects to help solve everyday math problems. Benjamin Franklin once said: "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.''

Today's children are very hands-on.

At BCE, our students enjoy learning and they especially enjoy having the opportunity to show what they know. Our school is one with an environment that strives on providing students with a hands-on learning approach. Games and manipulatives are fun and necessary to help engage the minds of my students. Additionally,

BCE is an inner city school, which consists of a very rich cultural body of students which consist of many different cultures and many languages.
