Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in an inner-city school where the students come from low-income families. The school has a bilingual gifted program, a program that is designed to meet the needs of students whose primary language is not English. Each grade has a bilingual gifted classroom, and I have been teaching in the fourth-grade bilingual gifted classroom for over fifteen years.

This school year, I work with 14 bright and creative students with a passion for learning.

My Project

I am always looking for ways to engage my students with standard based lessons and activities. Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) is an online store that provides high quality resources created by teachers for teachers.

The TPT gift card will allow me to supplement my lessons with high quality resources for language arts, math, science, and social studies.

With the printer ink cartridges, I will be able to print out resources that will not only engage my students, but also allow them to master concepts that we are learning in class
