My Project

The 7th and 8th graders in my resource classroom have never developed, or have lost, enthusiasm and interest in reading. One big reason is that they find it challenging. I chose an engaging story that will keep their interest as I model fluent reading through read-aloud. They will also have the opportunity to read excerpts to our group, to me, and independently.

I am looking forward to the discussions that will arise.

We will discuss elements of the story and practice visualization strategies to aid in reading comprehension. Thank you for supporting my classroom!
