Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I can't believe it's already May and the end of the school year is just around the corner! The students have been working so hard to do all their classwork, homework, and projects. They have also been striving for success in the classroom by participating in discussions, collaborating in group activities, and simply showing kindness daily by helping those around them.

I would love to reward the students with end-of-school-year goodies!

For example, colorful retractable pens and small tie dye notebooks will be given to them at the end of the school year to write their feelings/journal in during the summer (which ties in to our SEL activities). More fun stickers will be made for the reward wall in the classroom with the use of the various laminating sheets (my students love stickers and add them to water bottles, notebooks, folders, etc.) Another huge hit in my classroom are shoe charms and string bracelets, so those will also be choices for prizes in the last week of school in June. The students will be ecstatic with these rewards!
